about

Rear View - The Meaning

This song is loosely based on two stories; The Woman At The Well (The Samaritan Woman), and The Prodigal Son.

The focus of the lyrics isn’t on how the stories end, but rather on the process of getting to the “happy ending.” No one really talks about that journey. The time in between tragedy and suffering, and being rescued and redeemed.

Rear View is about where dreams and realities meet. The tension between life as we know it, and the life enlightened, free of the tangles of the past and living on purpose.

Even when we are living an enlightened life, the past is never very far, and that “knowing” can be the key to accepting that reality and engaging a shift to desiring something bigger. Something that is experienced as Brand new while at the same time accepting the truth that nothing stays brand new.

The main message of the song is the battle cry of, “I’m ready now!”

What are you ready for NOW?

lyrics

Rear View

She said - Enlighten me tell me how to be free
She said - Smash the pedal down let’s get out of this town

Head full of memories those little princess dreams of distant seas

You Are Yashua!

To get back what you had you had you have to let your world collapse to build something new

To discover who you are the past is never very far you ask will I find The truth

I’m ready now
I’m ready now

To find out what is true
My past is shrinking in the rear view

Hey
Oh oh oh

He said - I’m lost in regress falling into this mess
He said - give me love to believe yesterday is a closing door

Heart full of memories those warrior dreams of a distant queen

You are Yashua!

To get back what you had you have to let your world collapse to build something new

To discover who you are the past is never very far you ask will I find The truth

Run til your out of breath these answers here you’ll have to guess nothing stays brand new

Forget about it shout it out you don’t have time to think about it

All that is behind you now

To get back what you had you have to let your world collapse to build something new

To discover who you are the past is never very far you ask will I find The truth

Run til your out of breath these answers here you’ll have to guess nothing stays brand new

Forget about it shout it out you don’t have time to think about it

In the Rear View!

I’m ready now
I’m ready now
Yes I’m ready now
